Tiger Ain’t Nothin’ Special

Salam aleikum to the Muslims. In the name of Allah, I seek refuge in Allah from the Rejected Satan, from the evil of our deeds, and from the torment of the hellfire. I testify that there is no deity to worship except Allah, and that Muhammad is his slave-servant and messenger. Who so ever Allah guides, none shall misguide, and who so ever He leaves unguided will not be guided. May Allah guide our hearts, our tongues, and our hands.

Our brother, Abu Shabab, mocked Tiger Woods by placing the photos of a brother being killed for adultery according to the Islamic hudud requirement of stoning to death. More than likely, there was a trial and establishment of guilt, as it is counter-productive for any nation to just kill its citizens willy-nilly for any accusation without evidence. It appears that despite his responsible disclaimer stating that he is not mocking the brother being punished for his sins and is openly mocking Tiger Woods who is getting away with adultery, some of us are coming down hard on him as if he murdered the adulterous brother in Somalia for no reason and as if Tiger didn’t cheat on his wife, possibly multiple times and with multiple women. A few facts to remember.

  • Non-Muslims, including their celebrities, are not immune to back-biting. Slander, maybe, but not back-biting or mocking, save those who pay jizyah and do not provoke disparagement. Tiger admits to cheating with at least one of them, and does not subscribe to the proper religion. Under the Shariah, there is no penalty for mocking him, as it has been explained that the rule against back-biting is by default against Muslims. I cannot recall if non-Muslim dhimmies are haram to back-bite or not. But the main point is that we can’t go easy on them just because they’re some kaffir celebrities. That leads to the next point…
  • The Jews and Christians are forgiving of adultery for those who are rich and famous. And Muhammad (saws) told us this as he stoned to death two Jews for adultery. Today we are imitating them just as we were told we would, and even in this matter. When Steve McNair died from a gunshot wound to his head from his girlfriend, people mourned his death like he was a devoted husband to his wife, and I was referred to as harsh for not mourning his passing and saying “good riddance”. When Pleasure P of some musical group was kicked out of that group after it recently surfaced that he was at one point prosecuted for child molestation, the entire African-American community did what it would have not done in the nineties; it turned out to forgive him and refuse to judge him because he’s an entertainer. Again, those of us who called for the rest of us to treat him like dirt unless it was a lie in the first place were seen as harsh, arcane, strange, and extreme. Some non-Muslims had this issue with me and it was understandable, but some wuslims took issue, too, instead of admitting that adultery is very disgusting to our standards as Muslims. I saw on IslamicAwakening.com that some wuslims were on there trying to apologize for the stoning penalty and cast doubt on the validity of them stoning the adulterer, trying to find a technicality on which to let him off, since apparently someone was photographing the execution. However, when a poor, broke, husband who is living off of his wife commits adultery, then we all want that guy to be castrated, which is worse than death in a few ways, or we want them killed for it, and we want the kaffir governments of the world to do it! We’re looking for them to practice our Islam for us and to validate it for us, as though they could possibly approve of it while remaining kuffar. This reminds me of Anwar Al-Awlaki’s post “Muslim For the Sake of the Disbelievers.” Wuslims who remain such after reading that, I’m afraid to continue to call Muslims for fear that I become an apostate, and Allah knows best.
  • Abu Shabab put in the disclaimer that he is not mocking the brother in the pictures paying for his sins, but rather Tiger Woods. So why attack him? Now, one commentator named Observer from the Lighthouse disagrees on the method of it, but I’m not referring to him, He has his evidence, and so he isn’t making up something for the sake of pleasing the kuffar. I am referring to the others who are attempting to apologize for Islam and the Shariah by casting doubt on the validity of the penalty itself or attacking Abu Shabab as though he is still mocking the brother despite his disclaimer that he is not. Who was being mocked is exactly who should be mocked, a confessed kaffir adulterer who may or may not have cheated more times and with more women than to what he confessed, and who will still get away with it despite his confession because the Shariah is not in place. The brother in Somalia who got the punishment in this life instead of waiting till Judgment Day is not mocked by us, nor are we arguing about whether it is better for an adulterer to confess and seek purification or to keep it hidden and repent sincerely but privately. That brother in the picture being executed for adultery is no longer offensive to us as he has paid for that particular sin, which itself is offensive to us. Tiger is getting away with his sin, and will already have much worse to answer for on Judgment Day if he does not repent and accept Islam while he is alive. (Tiger, would you like your behind cooked regular or extra crispy, or would you rather accept Islam for your salvation?)

Abu Shabab has done what we should be doing to the kuffar who cheat on their spouses, and that also is nothing to apologize for, so congratulate him or leave him be. Islam is nothing to apologize for, nor is its Shariah. Adultery and then getting away with it are things to do more than just apologize for, but rather to suffer for and even die for if you really see them for what they are. Being a celebrity does not free any of us from this. The Jews were ruined when they started giving extra licenses to their wealthy and famous. Do we want to be ruined for the exact same thing or be different and avoid that ruin?
